Inspired by the belief that preservation and protection of globally, nationally, regionally and locally significant cultural landscapes, both designed and vernacular, are critical to sustaining the continuum of land use and history across generations. Protection of these cultural resources offers inspirational values and an appreciation of past and present ingenuity, accomplishments, hardships, and hopes, as well as insight into future land use and design solutions. In addition to keynote addresses and symposia given by invited speakers, individuals are invited to submit abstracts for both paper and poster presentations.
