Forte Nanshan

Spark’s 4,000 sqm show suite and clubhouse, 12,000 sqm hotel and a 13,000 sqm retail street sit within a landscape garden forming the centre of a luxury villa development on the outskirts of Chongqing. The design stresses the property’s topography from its high level entrance to its lowest point. Spark resisted flattening the landscape instead opting for a terraced solution of multiple ground levels and entry points to the buildings. The clubhouse was conceived as a continuous loop, folded surfaces parody the landscape to create varied and intricate internal spaces, which include the sales / show room, offices, retail, a pool, gymnasium, restaurant and café.
