It will be implemented the use of certified wood for the project, both for finished wood furniture and all that it is permanently installed in the building. This certificate is issued by the FSC (Forest Stewradship Council) and supports the responsible consumption of natural resources. DESCRIPTION As sustainable design the project seeks to reduce construction impacts to the environment, looks for the generation of energy through renewable resources, the integration into the environment and the rational and sensible use of natural resources. The project proposes 9 retirement cottages, a clubhouse and administration. The occupation is set out in a total of 36 users: 6 cabins for 4 persons, 4 cabins for 2 persons (including directors) and 2 persons in charge of the clubhouse. ![]() The implantation in the terrain seeks the least impact on the environment, the greater preservation of natural areas and the greatest efficiency in land use. The complex is spread on the site by selecting the best views achieving the lowest construction density possible. A modular system of columns and beams of certified wood (FSC, Forest Stewradship Council) was designed, a structure that allows the construction of suspended platforms to achieve the least impact on the ground. Prefabricated panels of certified wood and regional roofs form the enclosures of houses. ![]() This system allows the creation of continuous spaces, with openings on both sides. Cross ventilation overrides the use of artificial conditioning. Projections and pergolas conditioning terraces are also resources used to achieve better energy efficiency and a continuous relationship between inner and outer space, using visual diversity from a simple and limited language. The whole system appeals to modular construction to ensure efficiency in costs and quality in work. ![]() The process of reverse osmosis is used to meet the demand for potable water, this system desalinates seawater and removes most solids (organic or inorganic) dissolved in water (up to 99%) as well as suspended matter and microorganisms, making the purification process continuously in one step. We opted for the biofilter system for separating different types of waste water and use a percentage of them. 3 biofilters will be built, at first glance this system will look like a garden with two divisions. Natural pools that use plants to oxygenate and purify the water instead of artificial chemicals and disinfectants will be implemented. The project will use a photovoltaic energy generation system interconnected with the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) and low energy consumption equipment. This system will support with solar energy 50% of consumption, considering that only a 100% occupancy will occur 6 months a year, it will ensure the energy consumed during this period. ![]() |
