Rapsel, innovative company that operates in the luxury bathroom furnishings, is pleased to announce that a group of experts together with publishers to more than 55,000 architects and designers voted, as a preferred product, the pan Ofuro made of larch wood. Voting took place at the fifth annual Best of Year Ceremony of Interior Design magazine in New York was held at the IAC. Ofuro also won the “2010 Good Design Award Design Award from The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. Ofuro, designed by architect Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez, is distinguished by its soft lines, bathtub inspired by the ancient ritual of the Japanese bath and privileges associated relaxation, harmony and balance mind and body. The edges are high, surrounds and protects the complete immersion of the body. Produced entirely in larch-even with the cap-seasoned and dried wood slats which are then processed and assembled with accurate and specific techniques. Expression of the “no-design” which, as mentioned Matteo Thun, is the work of removal and simplification aimed at seeking simplicity and essence. Source: www.channelbeta.net |
