Sinclair Events announce the launch of EcoBau Live in Germany
date added: 09.05.2011

27 – 29 March 2012

EXPO XXI Cologne

The only trade event in Germany dedicated to sustainability in the built environment – design, construction, refurbishment and renewable energy in green buildings...

Sinclair Events is pleased to announce the launch of EcoBau Live Germany, a content led event focusing on the future of the sustainable construction industry in Germany and the developments, innovations, current practices and major challenges faced by the industry going forward. The event will cover all aspects of the sustainable construction industry including design, construction, refurbishment and renewable energy.

What makes EcoBau Live different?

Germany is recognised the world over as an innovator of sustainable building and construction with an image for quality and reliable products and as a leader in environmental protection and the processing of renewable energies. And yet to date there has been no event that comprehensively addresses this very important and growing sector. In response to the importance of these industries in Germany, EcoBau Live has been launched to provide a specific event dedicated to sustainability and renewable energy in Germay’s built environment.

The organisers of EcoBau Live, Sinclair Events, have clearly identified a need to organise events that respond to the increasingly sophisticated requirements of visitors attending industry events and their need to balance the ‘content’ and the ‘face to face’ aspect of their visit. To this end, EcoBau Live will deliver a comprehensive programme of technical seminars as well as an exhibition area of industry leading companies and a summit directed at government, ministry and high level participants.

EcoBau Live features:
- an exhibition area of leading product, innovation and service providers some 100 speakers at 40 sessions in a ‘free to attend’ Technical Seminar Programme addressing key topics, issues and areas of debate
- live demonstrations and feature areas as part of the trade exhibition
- the EcoBau Live Summit addressing the ‘bigger picture’ issues from a more global perspective
- the Oak Awards, recognising excellence in the industry across 12 categories

Industry Support:

EcoBau Live is proud to have already secured the support of some of the leading associations and key industry companies in Germany including the Association of German Architects and Engineers, the Federal Association of Bio Energy, the Association of the Wood Industry and the Pellet Association. Further support from other leading organisations is expected to be confirmed in due course.

Mark Shashoua, Chairman and Founder of Sinclair Events comments, “In over 20 years in the exhibition industry, I have been able to launch events across 12 countries and over 36 different industry sectors, but EcoBau Live represents the most important series of events that I have personally been involved with. With this first event, we are gathering the future of sustainability in the built environment in Germany under one roof: from trading on the exhibition floor, to presentations on the latest technologies at the largest and most comprehensive technical seminars programme through to high level debate at the Summit. We have been delighted with the incredible response from the associations and industry in general to the launch of EcoBau Live and are very excited by the potential of this event and its ability to bring together all the key players. Our aim is to make EcoBau Live the leading annual forum where the environmental, social and financial implications of sustainable construction and energy are addressed, discussed and moved towards resolution and where business is done between the key players.”
