We're so excited to finally launch the third generation of Archinect.com! This new site reflects over four years
of countless design iterations, concept evolutions and infrastructural
redevelopments. Since we started redesigning Archinect in 2007 we've
also grown our in-house team. We're honored to have Theo Liakopoulos
join us as our new Technical Director. Theo has worked with us at our
design agency, Extra Medium, for many years developing websites for
clients in the architecture and design industries, so it was a seamless
transition when he joined us at Archinect as our full-time dedicated
director of all things technical.Over the next few weeks I'll be posting a series of articles about the new Archinect, from the background and development of the site, to introductions of new and improved sections. We'll also include some tutorials and talk about some of the big changes yet to come as we move beyond the 0 in Archinect v3.0. If you would like to get an alert whenever we post a new article, please click the "follow" link at the top of this article. Until then please enjoy some of the following new things we're especially excited about:
Follow Archinect original editorial content authored by some of the web's most thoughtful contributors in our Features section
Stay up-to-date with new Events and Competitions, powered by our sister site Bustler.net |
