Bio

Sanjay Puri Architects won the Future Projects Commercial Award for their project, “Offices’63”  at the 3rd World Architecture Festival held in Barcelona  in November 2010

Winning six international awards in 2010 including two MIPIM Architectural Review Future Projects Awards Commendations in Cannes, France and two Asia Pacific Property Awards for Architecture in Hongkong and the Hospitality Design Award for the Best Mid-range Hotel worldwide in New York, Sanjay Puri Architects have created an international presence.

The firm established in 1992 has a current strength of 72 architects and is involved in the design of over 180 projects presently, having already completed over 400 projects of a diverse nature. Global City , Mumbai’s largest residential development with 15000 apartments is amongst the several townships being designed by the firm. Their portfolio currently includes several hospitality, retail, commercial, entertainment and educational projects.

Along with 7 international awards and 45 national awards including 7 Indian Institute of Architects  Awards, 7 Indian Institute of Interior Design Awards & CW India’s Top Ten Architects Award for 5 years, Sanjay Puri Architects projects have been extensively featured in a host of national and international publications. Sanjay Puri has been a speaker at many conventions and institutions in India and other countries,. Sanjay Puri was the only Indian architect included in the judges panel at the World Architecture Festival 2010, Barcelona amongst 70 international judges.

Evolving innovative design solutions that are contextual and sustainable and creating spaces that are exhilarating to experience while being functional form the essence of the firm’s design philosophy.
