This project is part of a fabric ANRU pavilion near a school and a gymnasium. The challenge for the lessor I3F was to relocate 34 families near their old neighborhood, in a totally different configuration of the small bar their previous group. This new housing, two-storey plus attic level, is composed of a U-shaped building with a courtyard in the middle which opens on September plane trees.

The image of “big house” comes from its gabled roof, but the reversal of the roof cladding facades, terra cotta, white gives it a decidedly contemporary image. The building maintains its double orientation through the use of wood for the courtyard facades. To break with the scale, four stairwells are planned each serving two units per floor. All units are through-and large outdoor spaces are planned. The exterior insulation and important contributions in natural light can meet the objectives of THPE (Very high energy efficiency).

Floor area/size: 3130 m2
