Both rental apartments and condominiums are part of this project. A joint venture of five Hamburg residential building cooperatives (Altonaer Spar- und Bauverein, Baugenossenschaft Dennerstraße-Selbsthilfe eG, Bauverein der Elbgemeinden eG, Allgemeine Deutsche Schiffszimmerer-Genossenschaft eG, Baugenossenschaft Fluwog-Nordmark eG) developed the rental properties, while Viterra AG created owner-occupied apartments. The firm of Carsten Lorenzen from Copenhagen and Kähne Birwe Nähring Krause, as well as Loosen Rüschoff Winkler from Hamburg, designed individualistic building structures featuring different architectural languages. The cultivated inner courtyard ensures resident privacy while simultaneously offering views over Grasbrookhafen and the Marco Polo Terraces. Small businesses have already moved in on the ground floors, including a café adjacent to the walkways. All the homes have already been occupied.
