The intervention takes place on one of the irregular blocks in the district of Poble Nou, the consequence of the heterogeneous nature of the street network that defines the external edge of the island of buildings. The new constructions use to some extent the constructional order originated by the existing ones to define their architecture, with details such as exposed ceramic brick fabric, sloping roofs, regular structure, repeated openings given rhythm by the structure yet with the gravitational component lightened with materials composed of aluminium or fabrics that can be shifted to reduce the sunlight.
