Vasconcelos Library is dedicated to José Vasconcelos, the philosopher and former presidential candidate and former president of the National Library of Mexico and integrates the public library of Mexico with a botanical garden in comparison with the bare enviroment of the city. It is a 250 meter steel, concrete and glass structure surrounded by greenery and water.

The interior of Vasconcelos Library creates a multidimentional environment with multiple levels of bookshelves that go back and front giving complexity to the total project.
