The Waldorf Astoria Berlin is situated in the famous Berlin building Zoofenster. It is a skyscraper in the district of Charlottenburg in Berlin. It has 32 floors and a height of 118 m and was constructed from July 2008 to March 2012.

The building is located in a triangular shaped lot and it is neighboured with the zoo, that is why it is called Zoofenster, window on the zoo. Zoofenster was designed by German architect Professor Christoph Mäckler, the tower provides the suites and rooms with excellent interior design following the Art déco style.
